Sri Lanka suffered their first casualty ahead of the two-Test series against Bangladesh commencing at Galle tomorrow when fast bowler Lahiru Kumara was ruled out of the first Test with a hamstring injury sustained at practice.

With another fast bowler Asitha Fernando also recovering from a viral infection, national selectors have brought in Kasun Rajitha and uncapped fast bowler Isitha Wijesundara into the squad of 18 named for the first Test.
