Kusal and Vice-Captain Kamindu out for duck in first Test against West Indies

Sri Lanka’s Kusal Mendis and Vice-Captain Kamindu Mendis were out for a golden duck in the first innings against the West Indies first Test on Day One yesterday.

At the time this edition went to print, Sri Lanka was reeling at 150 for 5 in 34 overs.

Pathum Nissanaka was out cheaply for 2 off 6 balls, Vice-Captain Kamindu for a first ball duck and Kusal Mendis suffered same fate in 4 balls.

Dinesh Chandimal scored 54 off 67 balls. Captain Dhananjaya de Silva was unbeaten at 45 off 76balls.

For West indies Alzarri Joseph and Shamar Joseph were pick of the bowlers with two wickets each.
