Two stunning junior golfers Kumar Danushan (Gents) and Kaya Daluwatte (Ladies) won the 104th Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC), Club Championship which concluded in grand style at their club course last weekend.

In the Gents final, Kumar Danushan won with a commanding performance to secure the coveted title. Danushan who was in sparkling form beat talented Yannik Kumara 3/2.

Danushan beat Sachin de Silva 5/4 in the semi-final while Yannik Kumara defeated Jacob Norton in the other semi-final 3/2.

Ladies championship saw Sri Lanka junior number 1 girl, Kaya Daluwatte emerging victorious. Kaya displayed remarkable skill and strategic play throughout the tournament, proving her mettle against experienced competitors. She beat Thiru Jesudason 7/6 in the final. During the semis Kaya beat Maleena Awn 9/8 while Thiru beat Jade Jiggens 2/1.
