Kingswood College secured the Plate Championship title at the Singer Schools Rugby League 2019 when they over-ran St. Anthony’s College, Katugastota 42/27 at Nittawela Rugby Stadium.

At the short breather winners led 25/8.

Kingswood tries were scored by Heshan Sandeepa (2), Dinal Ekanayake (2), Hirusha Sampath, Chathura Zoysa and Asiri Seneviratne with Hirusha Samptha doing the kicking duties.

Referee was Praneeth Weeranga.

Both Kingswood and Antonians will be promoted to the Cup segment in 2020.
