Central Province Under 16 Football

Kingswood College emerged as the unbeaten champions at the Under 16 Central Province tournament which was organised by the Education Department of Central Province.

In total 45 teams took part in this mega event.

Kingswood beat St. Anthony’s College 2/0, Gampola Muslim College 4/0, Zahira College 2/1 in the pre-quarterfinals, Gampola International School 5/4 in a penalty shootout in the quarter-finals, Benhil College 1/0 in the semifinals and St Sylvester’s 1/0 in the final after a penalty shootout to clinch the title.
