Kingswood and Dharmaraja lock horns for William Weerasinghe Trophy

The annual rugby encounter between Kingswood and Dharmaraja for the William Weerasinghe Trophy will take place today at the Bogambara Stadium at 4.00 p.m.

Established in 2001, the William Weerasinghe Trophy honours the late William Weerasinghe, a distinguished past President of the Dharmaraja OBU whose dedication and service played a significant role in the development of the school. He was also a Team Manager at Kandy Sports Club for more than two decades.

Kingswood enter the match as the defending champions after registering a convincing 27-17 victory in last year’s encounter.
