Kaya Daluwatte, Sri Lanka’s top junior ladies golfer, put up an impressive performance at the USGA qualifier, where she shot an impressive one under par to secure a spot at the prestigious USGA Girls’ Junior Championship.

This tournament will be held at the Atlanta Athletic Club’s Riverside Course in Johns Creek, Georgia, from 14 to 19 July. The USGA Girls’ Junior Championship is one of the most esteemed tournaments in junior golf, attracting top young golfers from across the United States and beyond.

Currently, Kaya is ranked 539th in the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR). She is also the seventh-ranked junior girl in India. (SJ)
