Kandy SC request for time and financial support

Defending Sevens champions, Kandy Sports Club, has written to Sri Lanka Rugby (SLR) Tournament Committee chairman Nazeem Mohamed, on issues faced by them as the only outstation club playing A division rugby. 

Kandy has requested for financial support, as well as time to prepare for the this year’s Sevens tournament, which will be hosted by Sri Lanka Air Force and organised by Sri Lanka Rugby during the last weekend in March. All of the seven other clubs have confirmed their participation already. Dialog Axiata is expected to pump in the funds for the event. (SJ)
