Kandy SC appoints 2026/27 Committee

Mahesh Weerasinghe will continue to head Kandy Sports Club as the President of the Club for the 2026/2027 season. The Club’s Annual General Meeting was held at its Club House yesterday.

Kandy will have the major task of regaining the League and Knockout titles from CR, which they lost last year. They will once again be led by former Kingswoodian and National XV vice-captain Tharindu Chathuranga.

Cargills will continue with the Club as the Platinum sponsor, while TVS Lanka will be the Associate sponsor, with Euro Motors coming in as the new sponsor.
