June National Golf Ranking Championship tees off today

June National Ranking Championship will commence from today (17 June) till 20 June at the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC).

Reshan Algama, Jevahn Sathasivam, Kumar Dhansuhan, Jacob Norton, and Chanaka Perera are the top contenders for this event as the highest ranked Chalitha Pushpika is yet to recover from his injury.

Reshan Algama after recently representing Sri Lanka in Hong Kong, Nepal, and Indonesia, aims to maintain his momentum and leverage his international experience as he faces local rivals. Algama’s performance in these tournaments has positioned him as a formidable competitor. He ended in top 10 both in Nepal and Indonesia.

Jevahn returning from injury will be eager to get on top gear at this event. He is the highest ranked golfer in this event followed by Reshan Algama. The tournament features a strong field of 42 golfers teeing off in 14 groups of three golfers in each.
