Jevahn Sathasivam teed off at the Final Qualifying for the 2025 US Amateur Championship at the prestigious Scarlet Course at Ohio State University, a venue renowned for its challenging layout and deep collegiate golf heritage.

Getting through and being placed in the top 10 will make Sathasivam eligible for the US Amateur Finals.

The Scarlet Course, designed by Dr. Alister MacKenzie and later restored by golf legend Jack Nicklaus, is widely regarded as one of the most demanding courses in college golf.

The US Amateur Championship, first played in 1895, stands as one of the oldest and most prestigious amateur golf tournaments in the world. It has produced some of golf’s greatest legends.

Sathasivam earned his place in the Final Qualifying field based on his World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR). His 2024 season has been exceptional, highlighted by winning the National Amateur Championship of Sri Lanka.

With over 73 golfers in the field at the Scarlet Course, only the top finishers will secure spots in the US Amateur Championship Finals, which will be held at the iconic Olympic Club in San Francisco.
