Jaco to referee for 79th Bradby Shield Encounter

Former South African referee who was attached to Lions in South Africa, David Jacobus Brouwer will officiate at the 79th Bradby Shield encounter between Trinity College and Royal College on 23 August in Pallekele and the second leg at the Royal Sports Complex on 6 September.

Jaco started refereeing in 2006, moved to New Zealand since 2019 officiating in NZ, affiliated, member of the Bay of Plenty Rugby Union (BOPRU) and in the premier panel referee.

Sri Lanka Society of Referees with the support of NZ High Commissioner in Colombo David Pine arranged this. Jaco also will blow a few games at the Inter Club Sevens in Colombo during the last weekend of August.

The former Vidyartha College and Kandy SC skipper, former leading referee, Anil Jayasinghe will be the TMO of the game.

The following will be the officials for the first leg on 23 August at Pallekele.
