sipathana has performed beyond expectations this season with an unbeaten run so far accounting, for the Schools League remains the most successful team in the President’s Trophy Tournament, clinching the title on 10 occasions and having emerged as the runners-up 12 times. The other four teams who were successful and dominated in the President trophy were St Peter’s and Kingswood. Trinity and Royal.

Peterites are the second most successful team in this tournament with seven titles to their credit followed by S. Thomas’ (5), Kingswood (4), Trinity (3) and Royal (3).
