The Asian International School (AIS) Alumni Association successfully organised the inaugural Inter-International Alumni Netball Tournament 2026 at the Air Force Indoor Basketball Court in Colombo, bringing together former students and elite netball players from leading international schools across Sri Lanka and overseas.

The high standard encounters saw Honey Badgers, a team comprising top players from leading international schools and overseas talent, emerged as champions.

The AIS Alumni team finished as runners-up, while Lyceum International School Alumni secured third place. Colombo International School and Royal Institute completed the top five. Rushika Paulas of Honey Badgers was named Netball Queen, while Upeksha Narayana of AIS Alumni won Best Defensive Player. Risini Niriella claimed the Best Offensive Player award, and Nethmini Silva was named Most Improved Player. Royal Institute received the Best Team Spirit award.

Chief Guest was President, Sri Lanka Netball Federation, Vajira Neththicumara. The success of the inaugural tournament has laid a strong foundation for what is expected to become a premier annual event in Sri Lanka’s international school sporting calendar.
