Havies continue winning streak

After some ordinary play early in the initial half, Havies pulled off a good 30/19 win over Air Force which was played at Ratmalana last weekend.

Air Force took early lead through two penalties by Gayantha Iddamalgoda. Havies reduced through Samuel Maduwantha penalty and then skipper Abdullah Faiz try took the lead at 8/6. Havies went further ahead through Sandesh Jayawickrema try. But the home team took the lead briefly through Perera try but Jayathu Rajaratne try took the Park club in to an 18/11 lead.

After the turn around, Air Force reduced the gap through Iddamalgoda penalty but Chatura Dilshan try took the visitors in to a 23/14 lead.

Havies full back, Samuel Maduwantha scored Havies try plus converted to take 30/14. Air Force had time for one consolation try though Prakrama Ratnayake.

Referee was Ishanka Abeykoon.
