Havelock Sports Club has once again drawn strong corporate support ahead of the 2025/26 Sri Lanka Rugby League season.
With sponsors joining hands, the Park Club looks well-positioned to make another serious push for the league title after a lapse of more than a decade.
Over the past few seasons, the Havies have finished among the top three teams, reflecting their steady rise and disciplined approach to the game. The club’s leadership and players have welcomed the backing from their new sponsors, who share the same commitment to excellence and development of Sri Lankan rugby.
Head Coach Saliya Kumara and skipper Sandesh Jayawickrema have already set clear goals for the season, emphasising fitness, teamwork, and attacking rugby — all supported by the renewed sponsorship drive.
The financial boost comes from Turbo as a key sponsor, FLYHISports for the third year running, while Lanka Hospitals has been partnering with Havies for a long period of time. Two co-sponsors, Prima Group and TVS Lanka, bring a major boost to the Park Club. They have signed Samoan player Visesio Anituarai as their overseas player, who is expected to join the team from Game 2.
