Hameedia has been appointed the Official Clothing Partner for Team Sri Lanka, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka (NOC) and the Commonwealth Games Association (CGA) of Sri Lanka. The signing ceremony was held on 11 August 2026 at Olympic House, formalising a partnership that will see Hameedia dress Team Sri Lanka’s athletes and officials at upcoming international sporting events.
The agreement was signed on behalf of Hameedia by, Head of Design and Business Development Mikail Hameed, together with the management board of the National Olympic Committee. The signing ceremony was also attended by Marketing and Business Development – Hameedia Women Habiba Hameed, Husn Brand Manager Asma Hussain, and Hameedia Head of Marketing Kasun Weerasinghe. Representing the NOC SL and CGA SL were NOC/CGA Sri Lanka President Asanga Seneviratne, NOC/CGA Sri Lanka Secretary General Rifdy Fahmy, NOC Sri Lanka Chairman of Marketing and Sponsorship Committee Dilshan Mohamed, Team Sri Lanka for the 7th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games Riyadh 2026 Chef de Mission Danuna Tilakaratne, and NOC Sri Lanka Games Committee and Athletes Commission Chairman Niluka Karunaratne OLY.
Under the partnership, Hameedia will design and produce official team apparel for Team Sri Lanka, beginning with the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games 2026 and continuing through the Commonwealth Youth Games 2027.
