Asia Pacific Junior Golf Championship 2025

Asia Pacific Junior Golf Championship 2025 commenced at the Hong Kong Golf Club in Fanling.

Sri Lankan Reshan Algama produced a very good opening round, carding a 2-under-par 69 to place 4th after day one. Vietnam’s NGUYEN Tuan Anh leads the field with an outstanding 6 under-par 65 followed closely by Moore Cooper of New Zealand who shot a 66 (5-under), claiming second place.

With two more days of intense competition remaining. Reshan performance is being closely followed as he continues to carry Sri Lanka’s hopes.

Fellow Sri Lankan Adhithya Weerasinghe had a tougher outing, ending with a 7-over-par score, placing him 28th position. In the team event Sri Lanka stands 8th in the rankings, while Australia leads, trailed closely by Philippines.

Day 2 will take place today in Hong Kong.
