MCA ‘E’ Division 25-Over League Tournament

The League stage of the 22nd David Pieris Group of Companies-sponsored ‘DPGC Challenge Trophy’ – MCA ‘E’ Division 25-Over League Tournament 2025 concluded on Sunday, 26 January.

At the completion of the round robin stage, comprising 28 matches, unbeaten George Steuart Health headed Group A, while Hayleys Group ‘B’ headed Group B, and Ceylinco General Insurance headed Group C.

The last batch of matches were played on 25 and 26 January.

The eight top teams in the League table, namely George Steuart Health, Ceylinco General Insurance, Hayleys Group ‘B’, Morison PLC, Amana Takaful, Janashakthi Group, National Development Bank ‘A’, and John Keells Group, advanced to the quarter-finals.

All four quarter-finals will be played on 1 February as follows: George Steuart Health v John Keells Group ‘B’ (morning) and Hayleys Group ‘B’ v Janashakthi Group (afternoon) at Pannipitiya, and Morison PLC v Amana Takaful (morning) and Ceylinco General Insurance v NDB ‘A’ (afternoon) at Darley Road.
