Sri Lanka Cricket will host the England U19 team during November-December 2021 for a limited overs series.

The England team will arrive in Sri Lanka on 22 November and will play five ODIs against the Sri Lanka Under 19s during the tour, which will be conducted under a bio bubble environment.

“We just completed a five-nil win against Bangladesh, and it did give us an opportunity to assess our team,” said SL Under 19 Head Coach Avishka Gunawardene.

“We will use the England series to tighten a few loose ends, as there is always room for improvement, and establish firmly as a team, and be ready to ‘peak’ when the World Cup approaches in 2022.”
