Dilshan to lead Lanka legends in Road Safety World Series

Former Sri Lanka captain Tillakaratne Dilshan will lead a star-studded Sri Lanka legends team in the second season of the Road Safety World Series scheduled to be played between 10 September and 1 October in India.

The 20-man squad comprises four other past Sri Lankan captains Sanath Jayasuriya, Upul Tharanga, Thisara Perera and Chamara Kapugedera.

Eight legends teams are due to participate from Australia, India, Sri Lanka, West Indies, South Africa, Bangladesh, England and New Zealand.

Sri Lanka Legends squad: Tillakaratne Dilshan (captain), Sanath Jayasuriya, Upul Tharanga, Thisara Perera, Chamara Kapugedera, Chaminda Vaas, Nuwan Kulasekara, Kaushalya Weeraratne, Mahela Udawatte, Asela Gunaratne, Chamara Silva, Isuru Udana, Chaturanga de Silva, Chintaka Jayasinghe, Dhammika Prasad, Dilruwan Perera, Dilshan Munaweera, Jeevan Mendis, Ishan Jayaratne, and Rumesh Silva.
