Dilruwan Perera calls time on international cricket career

Dilruwan Perera, who represented Sri Lanka in Tests, ODIs and T20Is from 2007 to 2021 has announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket with immediate effect.

In his retirement letter written to Sri Lanka Cricket, Perera has stated that he will continue to play domestic cricket.

The off-spinner represented the country across all international formats capturing 161 Test wickets (avg. 35.90) and scoring 1,303 runs (avg. 18.88) including seven 50s, the highest of which was 95 he made on his Test debut against Pakistan at Sharjah in 2014.
