Former Nalanda and Sri Lanka cricketer Kumar Dharmasena won the confidence of the International Cricket Council (ICC) list Elite set of umpires. Meanwhile Ranjan Madugalle continued his good work in tandem when he got selected once more in the Match Referees panel for 2020/2021. Both these former players represented the Nondescript Cricket Club (NCC).
Selections panel included Ranjan Madugalle, David Boon (Australia), Sanjay Manjrekar (India) and Chairman Geoff Allardice for the umpire selections.
Only surprise inclusion was of the 36-year-old Indian umpire Nitin Menon who got in to the top panel of umpires for his good work in the recent past.
