David Pieris Motor Company heads into final of MCA “C” Division 50 Over League

David Pieris Motor Company “A” advanced to the final of the MCA “C” Division 50 Over League /White ball Tournament 2025, with a comfortable 08 wickets win over Commercial Bank “A” in the 1st Semi Final played on 16 August at DHH Grounds, Negombo.

Commercial Bank “A” batting first shot out for 126 runs 31.1 overs due to the hostile bowling performance by the DPMC “A” medium paces, Manjula Gannile (3/18 in 04 overs), Lakshan de Silva (2/19 in 6.1 overs), A. Wanninayake (2/7 in 05 overs) and R. Sembakuttige (2/13 in 05 overs).

DPMC “A” reached their target without much sweat, scoring 127/2 in 23.5 overs spearheaded by the unbroken 70 runs partnership in 77 balls between Tharindu Amarasinghe ( 54 not out in 71 balls inclusive of a 06 and 05 fours) and Asitha Wanninayake (44 not out in 38 balls inclusive of 05 fours)
