D.S. Senanayake College continued their dominance in the “Battle of the Golds” rugby series with a hard-fought 25/19 win over Mahanama College in their 16th annual Under 19 rugby encounter played at Havelock Park yesterday.

The D.S. outfit edged their opponents in a closely contested match, maintaining control for most parts of the game and showing better execution in key moments.

At the short breather DS held a 17-7 lead, having built early momentum through structured play and disciplined attacking phases. Their ability to convert pressure into points proved decisive.
