Seventeen-year-old Reshan Algama delivered a masterclass in consistency and composure as he sealed a dominant win at the July National Ranking Championship, finishing with a gross score of 288 after four days of competitive golf. This event was organised by Sri Lanka Golf.

The victory was not just another title for the teenage sensation it was a reaffirmation of his status as one of the most promising young talents in the country.

Haroon Aslam playing in his home course also carded an impressive even-par 73 on the last day. However, Haroon ultimately fell short, finishing five strokes behind with a total of 293. Kumar Dhanushan rounded out the top three, securing third place with a four-day gross score of 298.

Chalitha Pushpika returning after his injury showed he will need some more time to come to top form as he ended tied for 6th position with Priya Hemantha.

Kian Niyarepola won the junior event with a total score of 164 followed closely by talented Thejas Rathiskanth who fell short by a solitary stroke. In the girls event Sithara Lorance won pushing Genuli Weerakoon to runner up position.
