In just three weeks, the highly anticipated second edition of the Clash of the Origins will take place, promising an exhilarating experience. This year’s event will feature a vibrant carnival atmosphere, complete with an array of food stalls and lively DJ music, setting the stage for an unforgettable afternoon.
The Clash of the Origins on 13 September from 2.00 p.m. at STC Small Club Grounds, Mount Lavinia will showcase the emerging talent in STC rugby, with teams from Under-10, 12, 14, and 16 age groups from both schools competing fiercely for the coveted trophies. These trophies are a fitting tribute to the legacy of three distinguished gentlemen from the 1988 STC batch, who proudly represented both schools in rugby:
- The Late Neilan William Memorial Trophy for the Under-16 age group winner
- The Late Harinda C Perera Memorial Trophy for the Under-14 age group winner
- The Late Yohan Ambrose Memorial Trophy for the Under-12 age group winner
