The Sri Lanka Golf Ranking Tournament 2025 commenced yesterday at the prestigious Royal Colombo Golf Club, bringing together Sri Lanka’s top amateur golfers for a four-day test of skill, precision, and endurance. End of day 1 both experienced Chalitha Pushpika and youthful Jacob Norton were tied on number 1. Jacob got a slight edge on better back 9.

Chalitha Pushpika – 68 (-3)
R.M.S.C. Rupasimghe – 73 (+2)
Reshan Algama – 74 (+3)
Chanaka Perera – 75 (+4) (Tied with Kumar Danushan)
In the Ladies segment N.G.N.S.S. Sumanarathna led with a score of 97.
With three more rounds remaining, the competition is far from over. The SLG Golf Ranking Tournament is known for its unpredictable nature, where a single low-scoring round can shift the leaderboard dramatically.
Day 2 will take place today at RCGC with only the top 15 golfers will move forward for day 3 and 4.
