Chalitha Pushpika accounts for Sri Lanka Golf Ranking Championship

Chalitha Pushpika emerged victorious in the Sri Lanka Golf Ranking Championship 2024 showing top class consistency throughout the tournament. 

Chalitha delivered an impressive performance, securing a two-under-par total score of 284, thereby claiming the championship title with a lead of 10 strokes.

It was the young, talented and top Sri Lanka World-ranked player Reshan Algama who emerged as a formidable challenger, delivering a brilliant one-under-par round to secure the second position. Despite the challenging conditions he finished with a total score of 294.

Priya Hemantha from VGR clinching the third spot with a total score of 299. The competition remained fierce as Yannik Kumara secured the fourth position with a score of 304, closely followed by Adithya Weerasinghe and Uchitha Ranasinghe both finishing joint fifth position with a score of 305.

Chalitha Pushpika and Reshan Algama exhibited exceptional tenacity, maintaining their positions at the top of the leaderboard throughout the tournament. 

Their consistent performance and competitive spirit added an extra layer of excitement to an already captivating event.
