Centuries galore at MCA “F” division 25 – Over League

Sajith Gunatillake from Seylan Bank, B. Malith from Empire Tea, R. Dimuthumal from Astron Lanka and Malintha Hettiarachchi from Emerchemie NB, posted centuries in the ongoing 6th Fairfirst Insurance Trophy – MCA “F” division 25 – Over League Tournament 2024 played from 8 to 10 March.

All 4 centurions were severe on the bowlers, as Sajith Gunatillake scored 128 runs in 53 balls, inclusive of 6 sixes and 20 fours Vs. Cargills Bank; B. Malith scored 116 not out in 73 balls, inclusive of 7 sixes and 12 fours Vs. Emerchemie NB; R. Dimuthumal scored 116 in 59 balls inclusive of 8 sixes and 12 fours Vs. SAGT and Malintha Hettiarachchi scored 111 not out in 40 balls, inclusive of 9 sixes and 10 fours Vs. Empire Tea.

The tournament will be continued this week-end 16 and 17 March with a match card of 16 half day matches, which will conclude the league stage of the tournament.
