Colombo International School (CIS) regained the Hasan Sohail Memorial Trophy when they defeated the British School in Colombo (BSC) by 13 runs in their annual limited overs cricket encounter played at the Sri Lanka Land Development Corporation Grounds in Nawala.

CIS piled up 191 after electing to bat first with Methuka Samarasinghe (27), Nikhil Peiris (40), Shenon Wijerathne (45), and Ranila Wijesundera (22) making useful contributions.

In reply, BSC fell short by 13 runs despite a splendid 68 runs from opener Avera De Abrew, who was later named Best Batsman.
