CH & FC edged out Army SC by 18/17 in their last first round encounter which concluded last weekend in Panagoda.

At the short breather CH led10/3.

CH tries were scored by Prasad Madushanka and Nirosh Perera. Hirusha Sampath converted one of the tries and put over 2 penalties for CH.

Meanwhile Army SC scored their tries through Nalaka Maduranga and Kaveen Perera. Ashan Bandara put over a penalty while Lakshan Jayawickrema converted both tries.

CH & FC ended round on number three position while Army SC ended on seventh position. CH will play in the Cup segment while Army will feature in the Plate segment during the second round encounters.
