The much-looked forward eighth edition of the AGOAL-organised C Rugby Tournament will kick off at the CR & FC Ground in Longdon Place on 30 August.
The unique event features 16 teams comprising old boys and their sister old girls, promising a day full of camaraderie, rugby spirit, and entertainment.
Kick off is at 4 p.m. with the grand final taking place under lights at 9:30 p.m.
This event which is growing in popularity, is once again spearheaded by former international referee and current referees, Asia Rugby Manager Dilroy Fernando, who has been instrumental in maintaining its high standards and festive spirit.
Defending champions Vidyartha College and Pushpadana Girls’ College will return with hopes of retaining their crown, but strong opposition awaits from other teams who are equally strong.
The tournament will once again be supported by a host of sponsors such as Elephant House (Lemonade), Keells Krest, Imorich, Haleon Iodex, Fairway Holdings, FeiMi, The Papare, Prima, Rush, CR & FC, and YES 101.
