The British School Athletic Squad with officials
The British School in Colombo (BSC) emerged athletic champions at the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA) Under-11 Primary Games, held at the Pattana Sports Resort in Chonburi, Thailand.
The FOBISIA Games have a longstanding reputation for being one of the most popular events in the FOBISIA calendar that offers students a fantastic opportunity to compete at the highest levels.
Competing alongside seven other international schools in the Pink Group, the BSC students embraced every challenge, every event, and every moment with energy and excitement to emerge athletics champions for 2026.
In the swimming championship, BSC were placed fourth (just four points shy of third), the Teeball ‘A’ team finished fifth, Teeball ‘B’ team came fourth, Girls’ Football Team secured fourth place, and the Boys’ Football Team finished in fifth place.
What stood out most was the sportsmanship the BSC students displayed, both on and off the field. They competed with passion, respected opponents, celebrated others’ successes, and represented BSC with pride, humility, and kindness throughout the tour.
