The 10th edition of Bradby Golf between the old boys of Trinity College and Royal College powered by NDB Bank is scheduled to be held on 22 August, the day before the first leg of the Bradby Shield encounter at Victoria Golf Resort in Rajawella.

Tee off is at 12.30 p.m. with shot gun start.

This encounter, played for the coveted G.C. Wickremasinghe Trophy, currently sees the Old Trinitians leading 6/3. The event will be live-streamed on Papare.com and will expand its reach overseas, with Bradby Golf being held for the first time in Washington, D.C., USA, and Sydney, Australia. A record number of players are expected to participate across Sri Lanka, the USA, and Australia. The Old Royalists will be led by Gihan Wickramasinghe, while Surain Premathileke will captain the Old Trinitians.

This event will adopt a “Ryder Cup” styled match play format which has become very popular. To encourage old boys of both schools to play along and become inclusive, the Victoria Cup will take place alongside the main event and adopt a stableford scoring format and top 3 cards will be selected. The tournament is played in memory of late G.C. Wickremasinghe, who was part of the 1956 Royal Rugby team.
