Bishop’s champions in Water Polo

Bishop’s College won the championship in all three age segments at the Under-13, Under-15 and Under-19 at the National Age Group Water Polo tournament conducted by SLASU and held at Airforce Swimming Pool Complex at Ratmalana recently.

In Under-19, they beat both Ladies’ College (9/8) and in the final game Visakha Vidyalaya (15/12). In Under-13 (9/6) and Under-15 (9/7) they beat Visakha Vidyalaya in their final games. This is a record for Bishop’s College, remaining unbeaten in all three age segments and winning the championship in one tournament.

Coaching staff of Bishop’s College Water Polo were Sachitha Jayatilake, Keshan Munasinghe, Minuri De Silva and Shania Silva.
