Australia underlined their supremacy in women's cricket by defeating England by seven wickets in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup final at Lord's to claim a record seventh title.

After electing to field, Australia restricted England to 150 for 4 from their 20 overs before comfortably chasing down the target with a composed batting display.

Beth Mooney anchored the run chase with an unbeaten 64, while Phoebe Litchfield contributed 48 as the pair shared a match-defining century partnership after the early dismissal of Georgia Voll.

Australia completed the chase with wickets and overs to spare, capping an unbeaten campaign in which they won all seven matches.

The victory extended Australia's remarkable dominance in the tournament, securing their seventh Women's T20 World Cup crown in the competition's 10 editions.
