Trinity College and The Rugby Scrummage has once again set the stage for a fabulous rugby season in 2025, backed by a strong lineup of sponsors supporting the school’s sporting excellence which they commenced in 1906.

The college formally recognised these sponsors at a ceremony which took place in Colombo, whose invaluable contributions will play a crucial role in ensuring the team’s success throughout the season.

Leading the sponsorship list is Asia Securities Group as Principal Sponsor while Softlogic joins in as the Platinum Sponsor, NDB has been named the Official Banking Partner with SLT Mobitel serves as the Telecommunications Partner.

Several longstanding sponsors have pledged their continued support, including Schokman and Samarawickrama, Montrela Consultants, and Araliya Group. Additionally, two new brands, Da Vinci Ceramics and Gordone Sri Lanka have come forward as key sponsors.

Co-Sponsors, Ceylon Agro Industries, through its Prima brand, is the Official Hot and Spicy Partner, while Norfolk Foods, Sunshine Consumer Lanka, and Country Farms extend their support to fuel the team’s success. Fondre, recognised as the Soft Indulgence Partner, adds a unique touch to the sponsorship roster. 99X has taken on the role of Digital Media Partner, Valvoline, a renowned automotive and industrial lubricant brand, also joins as a Co-Sponsor.

The Trinity outfit is captained by Safraz Usmaan, with Fazil Marija heading the coaching unit. Trinity College Principal Father Araliya Jayasundera, along with Scrummage President Nilantha Rathnayake, and his committee, graced the occasion.
