Antonians Wattala beat Thurstan and enter quarter-finals

Under-19 Division 1 Limited-over tournament

Two days after beating their traditional rivals Isipathana College by ten wickets in their 62nd Big Match, Thurstan College were tamed by St. Anthony’s College Wattala who beat them by 44 runs in the Under-19 Division 1 Limited-over Tier B tournament match played at Wattala yesterday. Half centuries by Tharusha Ratnayake and Harsha Weerasooriya coupled with Kavindu Senadi’s four wickets saw the Antonians win and qualify to play in the quarter-finals.
