National Champion and No. 1 seed Anika Seneviratne of Ladies College on Sunday became the first player in Sri Lanka Tennis to win all three Super A tournaments in one calendar year.
She achieved this feat when she won the 105th Colombo Championships at the SLTA yesterday.
She beat Savini Jayasooriya of Gateway International 7/5 3/6 6/3 in finals.
Anika had earlier won the Clay Court Nationals and the Hard Court Nationals to create a bit of history in the 100-year-old competition, which is the oldest tennis tournament in the country.
