Adam Fernando wins Captains Cup Golf 2023

The hotly contested Captains Cup 2023 saw the Nett segment being won by Adam Fernando who emerged victorious, displaying remarkable consistency with rounds of 65 and 71 for a total score of 136 Nett at the Captain Cup Golf 2023 which took place at the Royal Colombo Golf Club recently.

 Following closely behind Adam was Romesh Abhayaratne, securing the runner-up position with a commendable performance of 69 and 70, totaling 139 Nett. 

However, it was the Overall Gross division that witnessed a historic moment, as Sachin De Silva clinched victory with a remarkable score of 145 Gross, reaffirming his status as one of the finest golfers in the country.

Sachin’s remarkable performance on the 18th hole that stole the spotlight and etched his name in golfing history at the century plus-year-old RCGC. He achieved this feat in the 18th hole securing an astonishing hole-in-one.
