Access enters MCA “G” Division 25-Over League final

Access Group qualified for the final of the 14th Stafford Motor Co.-sponsored ‘Honda’ Trophy – MCA “G” Division 25-Over League Tournament 2025, beating Aitken Spence Group on the “Bowl –Out” contest in the semi-final played at Thurstan College Grounds last weekend.

As rain kept on following Access Group, this was the second occasion that they faced the “Bowl –Out”; earlier they beat Allianz Insurance in the quarter-finals in a similar way.

In the semi-final, Aitken Spence Group, batting first, was 23-1 in 4.1 overs when bad weather intervened and subsequently, the match was abandoned as further play was not possible.

The umpires and the Match Referee then enforced the “Bowl Out” contest in order to arrive at a decision, which went in favour of Access Group.

Access Group will now meet HNB Assurance in the final on 21 June at the MCA Grounds.
