Aadham Hilmy of Sri Lanka Under-19 celebrates his half-century

Sri Lanka managed to pull back one game in the ongoing 6-match Under-19 ODI series when they beat touring Bangladesh by 27 runs in the fifth match played at the SSC grounds yesterday.

Choosing to bat first Sri Lanka were dismissed for 196 in 42.3 overs with skipper Vimath Dinsara (42 off 47 balls, 5 fours) and wicket-keeper Aadham Hilmy (51 of 59 balls, 7 fours, 1 six) being the principle scorers.

Bangladesh lost half their side for 96 and although there was some resistance from the late order they managed only 169.

Viran Chamuditha (3/26) and Kugathas Mathulan (3/26) were the main destroyers of the Bangladesh batting.

Bangladesh lead the series 3-2 with the sixth and final ODI scheduled to take place on Thursday at Colts grounds.
