3 changes in Sri Lanka squad for Bangladesh ODIs

Sri Lanka have named an 18-member squad for the three-match ODI series against Bangladesh making 3 changes to the squad that beat Australia 2-0 at home in the last series played in February.

Returning to the squad are wicket-keeper/batsman Sadeera Samarawickrama and fast bowler Dilshan Madushanka while fast-bowling all-rounder Milan Rathnayake gets his first opportunity in white ball cricket although his inclusion is subject to fitness. Ratnayake missed the ongoing second Test against Bangladesh suffering a side strain in the first Test played at Galle. Dropped from the squad are batsman Nuwanidu Fernando, and fast bowlers Lahiru Kumara (injured) and Mohamed Shiraz.Sri Lanka plays Bangladesh in the first and second ODIs at the R Premadasa Stadium on 2 and 5 July. The third and final ODI will be played at Pallekele on 8 July.
