23rd Singer-MCA Premier League kicks off on Wednesday

The 23rd Singer-MCA Premier League 2016 will conclude with its third segment, the 20 + 20 Super tournament.

The seven teams that participated in the League and the Knockout, namely MAS Active Trading (League and K-O Winner) , Commercial Credit & Finance Plc (K-O Runners-up), MAS Intimates Unichela (League No. 2), Sampath Bank, John Keells Group, HNB and Seylan Bank, along with the current ‘B’ Division winner, Textured Jersey, are in the fray. The tournament is being conducted in a knockout format.

The quarterfinals will be worked off on 11 November as follows (two matches at each ground):

At MCA commencing at 9.30 a.m. - MAS Active Trading vs. Seylan Bank.
At MCA, commencing at 1.45 p.m. - MAS Unichela vs. John Keells Group
At Moratuwa Stadium, commencing at 9.30 a.m. - Sampath Bank vs. HNB
At Moratuwa Stadium , commencing at 1.45 p.m. - Commercial Credit & Finance vs. Textured Jersey.

The semi-finals are scheduled for 14 November and the final for 15 November, with all games to be played at the MCA.
