Pan Asia Bank Wins ‘Gold’ for Customer Convenience at LankaPay Technnovation Awards

Pan Asia Bank was awarded Gold in the Customer Convenience category (Category C Banks) at the prestigious LankaPay Technnovation Awards 2026, in recognition of achieving the highest growth in digital transactions in 2025. Organised by LankaPay, Sri Lanka’s National Payment Network, the awards are widely regarded as the country’s first and only competition dedicated to payment technology innovation, setting a national benchmark for excellence in digital payments. The awards ceremony was held on 24th March 2026 at Cinnamon Life, with Dr Nandalal Weerasinghe, Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, serving as Chief Guest.

The recognition underscores Pan Asia Bank’s continued focus on enhancing customer convenience through its robust digital banking ecosystem. Its Internet and Mobile Banking platforms have delivered seamless experiences for both retail and corporate customers, enabling greater accessibility while also streamlining branch workflows and improving operational efficiency. The Bank’s digital channels recorded significant growth in terms of monthly transaction volumes and Remittance transactions via Internet and Mobile Banking.
