Seminar on IMO Conventions and Maritime Regulations

The Organisation of Professional Associations of Sri Lanka, together with The Company of Master Mariners of Sri Lanka will hold a joint seminar titled ‘IMO Conventions and Maritime Regulations in Sri Lanka’ on 9 February at 6 p.m. at the OPA Auditorium, The Professional Centre, 275/75 Prof. Stanley Wijesundera Mawatha, Colombo 7.

Speakers will be Capt. Upul Peiris, Government Ship Surveyor (Navigation) who will focus on 

‘Acceding to IMO Conventions by Sri Lanka’ and Chandaka Jayasundera, Attorney at Law who will focus on ‘Proposals for a new Maritime Regulatory Regime in Sri Lanka’.

 The event will be followed by an evening of fellowship.
