CMA CGM announces new revenue restoration program

CMA CGM Group last week announced a new rate restoration program effective from March 2012.

The details are as follows:

GENERAL RATE INCREASE

Effective March 1st, 2012:

¦From Asia to Middle East Gulf on CIMEX services

+ USD 500 per TEU

¦From Asia to Sri Lanka, Pakistan and West India

+ USD 150 per TEU

¦From West Med to La Guaira and Puerto Cabello

+ EUR 100 per 20’

+ EUR 200 per 40’

¦From West Med to West Coast South America

+ EUR 50 per 20’

+ EUR 100 per 40’

Effective March 15th, 2012:

¦From Asia to Sri Lanka, Pakistan and West India

+ USD 150 per TEU

RATE RESTORATION INITIATIVE 2 (RRI2)

Effective March 15th, 2012:

¦From Asia to USA to include USWC, USEC and US Gulf (all Inland Points Intermodal and Reversed Inland Points Intermodal). Thanks to note that this RRI2 does not include the trade from India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka to USEC and US Gulf
