Premium Global Logistics celebrates 15 years of success

Premium Global Logistics (PGL), a reputed international freight forwarding and logistics service provider, recently celebrated 15 years in business. 

The company, headed by its Director/Chief Executive Officer Jeremy Bowen, commenced operations in January 2009, and today has offices and warehouses in Malaysia. 

PGL was founded by Jeremy after he set up and managed a successful logistics company in Hong Kong. With over 36 years in the field of international logistics, his experience as a director has included many partnerships with leading conglomerates in Sri Lanka. 

Since its inception, the mission of PGL has been to facilitate the growth and development of clients by providing efficient and effective supply chain partnerships with an emphasis on quality, performance and integrity. As it celebrates its 15th anniversary, the company is poised to expand into other locations and add an additional 100,000 square feet of warehousing to its portfolio.

“Like many other ambitious enterprises, PGL rose to success from humble beginnings,” said Jeremy. “I was 40 years then, with five employees in my office and just one customer, but we had a dream and a passion to succeed,” he recalled.  

PGL is today a fully-fledged freight forwarding and logistics service provider. Its services include freight forwarding, ocean freight, air freight, trucking services, warehousing and distribution services, 3PL operations, e-commerce, custom brokerage and supply chain consultation. The company specialises in import, export and foreign-to-foreign global freight and logistics services. It offers logistics services into “hard to reach” and “hard to ship” destinations, including those with complex import and export licensing requirements.

With a network of reliable agents, an experienced team, its own warehouses in the east and west coasts of Malaysia and shipment visibility, PGL offers full-service customised freight solutions to clients worldwide. The company’s headquarters are based in Port Klang, which is the largest international port in Malaysia. 

Jeremy thanked all those who have been part of PGL’s journey. “Without our dedicated team, our network of partners and loyal customers, this milestone of 15 successful years would not have been achieved,” he said. He added that he looks forward to continue providing a superior service in the logistics field for many more years to come.
