General Manager (HRD&A)/Management Representative Manjula Hettiarachchie and a host of other senior management and staff representing CDPLC participated at this occasion. Printseva performed the honour of cutting the rope to break the milk pot and launch the vessel. This is the first Vessel of a series and these 89.95m long vessels are designed to hold a cargo capacity of 5000 DWT. The type of cargo they could carry includes bulk cargo, grain, timber, unit loads and containers. Each vessel is powered by 4 stroke diesel engines with an Electric Hybrid system supplying additional power through a battery storage system.
